Recording an Englishman in Dakar
Recently I was recording an Englishman in Dakar.
Recently I was recording an Englishman in Dakar.
I was working with Cissa and recording songs with him. We had a great time, and it was cool meeting many musicians.
The past few weeks I have been working with a Senegalese songwriter and recording his next projects, here are some snaps from recording sessions. More to follow
I enjoyed playing 3 gigs in France, one night in L'arbre a bieres, another a mini house concert, and finally at Le Bruit Qui Court. It was great seeing old friends too and playing some new songs, connecting with people again. I was delighted to see Chloé a 7 year old girl who was at one of my gigs in Le Bruit Qui Court in 2013 and she loved it, I gave her some badges for helping me "fait le chapeau" after the gig. She came with her badges, it was very cute. She sat right in front o me with a cousin and an uncle listening to the whole gig. It was amazing, and made me very happy.
I had a great time in Nottingham playing at The Malt Cross, in their lovely newly refurbished building. It was really cool, and lots of people came out which was very nice.
Tune in right now to hear my live gig from Hunter House, East Kilbride, thanks a million!Tweet to @adambakermusic if you are listening in let us know where you are! Tweet pics to @adambakermusic if you are here snapping any pics

From time to time the boys enjoy making beats, its more like play and experimenting. They are very interested in drums and percussion.
