“It goes without saying that the lyrics are fantastic, the melodies are brilliant and the songs catchy. Yet together with his vocals and quality of recording, these songs are a real hit. ‘Come Away’ is a wonderful standout song, New Day has a wicked beat and some stunning guitar work, the softness of Next To You is sublime and Weary Soul is so blues sounding the imagery instantly takes you away to New Orleans and is my favorite track on this EP by a long way.”
